FROM the DIRECTOR
Do you know how much we love your children?
Many of you may have heard about the recent death of a student who graduated from PCK last year. Tragedies like this rock the entire Parker community, and, in this case, it really affected the PCK staff. When a student has been a part of our school for any length of time, they become ‘one of ours’. The staff clearly understands that our primary mission is to educate our students, but in the process, we grow to love and care about them as if they were our own. When they succeed, we cheer from the sidelines and celebrate their success, and when they stumble, we are there to help them pick themselves up, dust off, and try again. Our relationship with your children is very much like that of a parent…at least for seven hours a day, Monday through Friday.
- Each student we serve is a special and unique individual.
- Our job is to help shape and grow each student in knowledge, character and confidence. We do that best through our relationships with the student and their family.
- Through our interactions with your children, our lives are changed too. Each student that passes through our doors will teach us something about ourselves.
- Life is precious, and we need to let those we love know just how important and valued they are…every day and regardless of their behavior.

State Math Competition
Aryan Gupta, Mr. Vakkalanka and Mrs. Bender spent their first day of spring break at the State MathCounts competition in Denver. Aryan did very well, placing 86th (top half) in the state! Congratulations Aryan.
4th/5th Math Club Takes on The Clue Room
The fourth and fifth grade math club have finished their Math Club competitions. To celebrate, they went to visit the Clue Room, a live escape challenge. The students were “locked in” for one hour and had to complete various puzzles to get out. Our fifth grade team made it out with just seconds to spare! Although our other two teams didn’t make it in time, a good time was had by all 🙂
A big thank you to the Clue Room for letting us come! We look forward to going back!
